Big Step Towards a Cleaner Delhi: ₹500 Crore Sanctioned for Sanitation Reforms

The Chief Minister announced that a sum of ₹500 crore has been allocated for comprehensive improvements in Delhi’s sanitation system. This budget will be utilized for waste disposal, streamlining cleaning operations, purchasing modern machinery, and enhancing the efficiency of sanitation workers.

During the meeting, MCD officials were directed to accelerate sanitation efforts and ensure effective implementation of plans at the ground level. The government’s goal is to make Delhi a clean, healthy, and livable city.
