Satish Golchha, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, visited several duty points across the city to review police deployment and interacted with officers and personnel deployed on duty during the Holi festival.

During the visits, the Commissioner of Police, Delhi extended Holi greetings and exchanged pleasantries with the field functiinaries, appreciating their dedication and commitment to duty while ensuring public safety during the festivities. He also motivated and appreciated the personnel, boosting their morale as they performed their duties away from their families on this important festival.
Adequate security arrangements were put in place across the city to ensure that Holi celebrations were conducted in a peaceful manner. Maximum ground visibility was ensured through intensive patrolling and the establishment of multiple checking pickets. Staff of District Police, Traffic Police and PCR were deployed to check unruly behaviour and dangerous driving.
Special emphasis was placed on public safety, with a significant number of women police personnel also deployed at various locations across the city.
The CP, Delhi visited personnel deployed at several duty points including at Connaught Place, Lajpat Nagar Market, South Extension Market, Pankha Road, Dabri, Vikaspuri, Peera Garhi Chowk, Prashant Vihar Rohini, Mukarba Chowk, Kingsway Camp, ISBT Kashmere Gate, Welcome Metro Station, Shyamlal College, Laxmi Nagar, and W-Point ITO. During these visits, he also distributed sweets among the deployed staff and appreciated their dedication to maintaining law and order during the festival.
