The allegation made by Delhi Aam Aadmi Party President Saurabh Bharadwaj regarding the complication of the trade license issuance process by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi and the imposition of an “Inspector Raj” is completely fabricated — Delhi BJP Spokesperson
Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor has stated that the accusation made by AAP President Saurabh Bharadwaj, claiming that the process of issuing trade licenses by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has been made more complicated and that “Inspector Raj” has been introduced, is entirely baseless.
Whether it pertains to various licensing procedures or the house tax department in Delhi, the then BJP-led administration of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, with the aim of eliminating the need for citizens to interact with inspectors, made all processes related to fee payments and receipt downloads fully online after 2007.
Praveen Shankar Kapoor further stated that some individuals in Delhi misused the online system to download health licenses using false information, which amounts to playing with public health.
In light of this, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has made provisions for cross-checking such licenses through health inspectors.
Saurabh Bharadwaj should clarify whether cross-checking of health licenses is necessary or not?
