Chief Minister Rekha Gupta personally visited the Keshavpuram Zone to inspect ongoing sanitation operations. Her visit emphasized the importance of timely waste removal, enhanced monitoring, and community accountability in maintaining urban cleanliness.
Karol Bagh Gets a Deep Clean
In Ward 82, Karol Bagh Zone, a massive sanitation operation swept through Gali No. 5, Gayara Chopal, and Motia Khan, covering nearly 2 sq km.
- 80 MT malba and 50 MT garbage were removed
- 5 gully gratings and 2 manhole covers were replaced
- Machinery included trucks, tippers, e-rickshaws, anti-smog guns, and sprinklers
The Chief Secretary, GNCTD, along with senior MCD officials, reviewed the site, applauding the coordinated execution and reaffirming the CorporationтАЩs resolve to elevate civic standards.
Madanpur Khadar Mobilizes
A special drive in Madanpur Khadar, from Agra Canal to Jalebi Chowk, saw joint deployment of MCD and PWD teams. With additional manpower and equipment, the operation targeted local sanitation bottlenecks and improved hygiene conditions for residents.
Sector 20 Rohini Cleans Up
In Narela Zone, MCD collaborated with GNCTD to conduct a thorough cleanliness drive in Sector 20, Rohini. The joint effort focused on malba removal, garbage clearance, and restoring public spaces to cleaner standards.
