Vijendra Gupta said in a statement- Operation Sindoor, launched on 7th May 2025 in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack, has proven to be historically decisive and successful.
India’s armed forces precisely targeted and destroyed terrorist hideouts across the border. The operation was executed with great skill and restraint, showcasing India’s capable and formidable military strength to the entire world. This campaign has sent a clear message that India will not tolerate any act of terrorism.
In continuation of this effort, on 28th July 2025, under Operation Mahadev, security forces neutralised three terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack in Srinagar.
On behalf of myself and this entire House, I extend heartfelt congratulations and express deep gratitude to the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, and all the armed forces, security personnel, and intelligence agencies involved in these operations. Their meticulous planning and execution led to the success of these missions. This House salutes the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers and commends the contribution of our nation’s armed forces and security services.
