In a crucial meeting of the Dog Shelter Committee formed by the Standing Committee of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Councillor Yogesh Kumar Verma presented eight practical and impactful suggestions to strengthen Delhi’s stray dog management system. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Sunder Singh Tanwar and attended by senior MCD officials.
Verma emphasized the need for swift implementation, transparency, and accountability, urging officials to stop delays and act decisively. His proposals aim to align with Supreme Court directives, enhance citizen safety, and promote animal welfare through a structured, scientific approach.
