In a proactive move to address civic infrastructure and sanitation concerns, Deputy Mayor Jai Bhagwan Yadav conducted an on-ground inspection of Ward No. 29 Pooth Khurd and Ward No. 28 Shahbad Dairy in the Narela Zone today. The visit was marked by direct engagement with residents, RWAs, and local leadership.
Community Hall to Be Rebuilt, Toilets to Be Powered
During the inspection, the Deputy Mayor directed the reconstruction of the community hall in Shahbad village and instructed officials to coordinate with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for the renovation of another hall under Delhi Government jurisdiction. He also ordered the installation of a new electricity connection for the toilet complex at Shahbad Dairy, ensuring better public utility access.
Waterlogging, Roads, and Civic Repairs Prioritized
Yadav emphasized the urgent resolution of waterlogging issues in both wards and called for the repair of broken roads, lanes, and culverts to prevent inconvenience to residents. He urged officials to act swiftly and collaboratively to uplift the civic environment.

Dialogue with Citizens, Commitment to Action
Accompanied by Councillors Anju Devi and Ramchandra, BJP District President Vinod Sehrawat, DC Narela Zone Rajiv Singh, and senior MCD officials, the Deputy Mayor interacted with local citizens and RWA members, listening to their grievances and issuing on-the-spot directions for redressal.
