The Additional Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Pankaj Naresh Agrawal, conducted a detailed inspection of various areas of Jhilmil Ward along with concerned officials and the Ward Councillor, Pankaj Luthra. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner of Shahdara North Zone, Abhishek Kumar, was also present. The objective of the inspection was to review sanitation arrangements and civic amenities in the area and to ensure necessary corrective measures.

During the inspection, visits were made to the Society Market, MCD School, Malaria Office, Ayushman Arogya Mandir, park, and the C&D waste disposal site. The arrangements of the concerned departments were reviewed, and the availability of civic facilities as well as the status of sanitation were assessed.

Wherever shortcomings were observed, the Additional Commissioner took them seriously and directed the concerned officials to take immediate corrective action. He further instructed all departments to address the deficiencies within the stipulated time frame and ensure better civic services in the area.
The Additional Commissioner also directed officials to ensure that no negligence is shown in maintaining sanitation, public health, and civic amenities in the area. All departments were instructed to work in coordination to further strengthen the existing arrangements.
During the inspection, officials were also instructed that the issues requiring improvement should be addressed on a priority basis, and a report on the action taken should be submitted within the prescribed time period.
