Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Central zone today carried out field inspection in Sarai kale khan and surrounding areas as a part special cleanliness drive.
Senior MCD officials under the supervision of Additional Commissioner Dr Satyendra Singh Dursawat, along with Deputy Commissioner Central Zone Sh Shashwat Saurabh along with all the concerned zonal heads conducted on ground inspection to review sanitation conditions in public places.
During the inspection, the team reviewed the ongoing cleanliness drive at the Baansera Park, Sarai Kale Khan Bus Terminal and surrounding areas.
The officials were directed to strictly monitor encroachments in the area. Instructions were issued to ensure coordinated removal of construction and demolition (C&D) waste in collaboration with the concerned agencies. Officials were also instructed to carry out dust mitigation measures.
Municipal Corporation of Delhi is working with citizens and various stakeholders to make Delhi clean through such cleanliness drives.
