In view of the flood situation in Delhi and to provide relief to the affected areas, the Delhi Government is making every possible effort. In this sequence, at 9 PM tonight, Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra visited the flood-affected areas near the Old Iron Bridge (Yamuna Iron Bridge). During his visit, he specifically inspected the area where cows and calves were trapped in a cowshed due to flooding.
For the past two to three days, young volunteers of the Gau Raksha Dal have been continuously engaged in service work, taking care of the cows trapped in the cowshed. The Minister appreciated this commendable effort and informed that Delhi Government officials, doctors, and concerned departments are present on-site and are actively involved in relief and rescue operations.

Arrangements are being made to relocate the trapped cows and calves to safer places. After 11 PM, with the help of vehicles, the cows and calves will be transported to safe locations. At the same time, continuous arrangements are being made for food, tents, and other essential facilities for the flood-affected families.
The Delhi Government has assured that not only will the safety of animals be ensured, but the basic needs of flood-affected people will also be fully taken care of. In areas where animals cannot be relocated, arrangements are being made for their food and care.
Kapil Mishra stated that he himself will monitor the progress of the relief work and will revisit the area tomorrow morning to ensure that assistance is reaching every affected person and animal.
