MCD has been enforcing severe measures against illicit meat outlets in the city and stray animals. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi Thursday seized six stray cattle from the Tehkhand, Okhla Industrial, and Harkesh Nagar areas as part of one such initiative. Strict measures are being taken by MCD to manage stray cattle under its jurisdiction. In addition, the Veterinary Services Department closed an unlawful meat store in the Pulpahladpur neighborhood of the Central Zone today as part of the special effort.
