Due to the incoming water from Kirari drain falling under Rohini zone being diverted towards Rohini Sector-22 drain the problem of waterlogging has arisen in many pockets of the sector. Deputy Jai Bhagwan Yadav directed the MCD officials to install additional pumps to drain out the water. He said that to find a permanent solution to this problem a coordination meeting will be held with the officials of DDA, PWD, Irrigation and Flood Control Department and Delhi Jal Board etc.
Deputy Mayor Jai Bhagwan Yadav said that to solve the problem of garbage prevalent in the area instructions were given to install compactor machines in place of closed Dhalaos. He said that the potholes on the roads should be filled as soon as possible and the slabs of the drains should be cleaned after removing the slabs in Rohini Sector-22 and trees should be pruned.
Deputy Mayor Jai also inspected Ward No.26 Pooth Kalan.
