Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Devender Yadav paid floral tribute at the statue of his father, Pradhan Mahendra Yadav Ji, on his 9th death anniversary at Main Chowk Samaypur today. Yadav also paid floral tribute at the statues of his grandfather late Nyodar Yadavand mother late Ganga Devi . On the death anniversary of Pradhan Mahendra Yadav , a тАШHavan PujaтАЩ was performed followed by тАШBhandareтАЩ.
On the occasion, along with Devendra Yadav, brother Shri Gajendra Yadav, all the family members, a large number of residents of the area, leaders of various political parties, supporters as well as Congress workers were present in large numbers.
Devender Yadav said that Pradhan Mahendra Yadav was a social worker and while serving the society, he also became a Municipal Councillor due to the support and encouragement of the people. Pradhan Mahendra Yadav worked for the needy people of the society throughout his life. He always worked for the upliftment of the poor and the downtrodden without showing any discrimination to anyone.
Yadav said that тАЬtoday we are trying to do everything possible by following the path shown by our father Pradhan Mahendra Yadav ji so that we could help the poor and needyтАЭ. He said that the tradition of service that we have inherited will never be allowed to end. We will continue the work started by Pradhan Mahendra Yadav Ji to help the poor and backward classes and SC students for their stipend and education.
All India Congress Committee treasurer Ajay Maken also paid floral tribute at the statue of Pradhan Mahendra Yadav. Among those who paid tributes to Pradhan Mahendra Yadav were former DPCC presidents Jai Prakash Agarwal and Ch Anil Kumar and others.
