For the by-elections in 12 wards of the Delhi Municipal Corporation, BJP candidates have begun their election campaigns with a series of organizational meetings. The meetings were attended by local Members of Parliament, MLAs, ward election convenors, ministers in charge, and workers up to the Shakti Kendra level. From Tuesday, all candidates will begin door-to-door campaigns across their respective wards.
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, along with Praveen Khandelwal, Delhi Government Minister Ravindra Indraj Singh, and Election Convenor Pankaj Jain, attended the inauguration and worship ceremony of the election office of BJP candidate Samun Kumar Gupta for the by-election of Chandni Chowk Municipal Ward No. 74. After the ceremony, the office was formally dedicated by party workers for election activities.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Virendra Sachdeva said that Chandni Chowk Ward has been a land of service and commitment, producing dedicated municipal leaders such as Shanti Desai, Jambu Prasad Jain, Ramchandra Amar, Bishambhar Dutt Sharma, and Vasudev Kaptan. Since the establishment of the BJP in 1980, the ward has elected BJP councillors in most elections.
He further said that with the strength of our hardworking party workers, BJP will once again win the Chandni Chowk Municipal Ward and ensure its comprehensive development.
MP Praveen Khandelwal said that BJP is one family, and every party worker is dedicated to ensuring the partyтАЩs victory at all costs. Therefore, victory on November 30 is certain.
