Delhi Police SCRB Gets ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Digital Crime Record Management

New Delhi: In a major boost to technology-driven policing, the State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB), Crime Branch of Delhi Police has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS) Certification by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Government of India.

The certification recognizes the bureau’s robust system for handling and managing digital crime records and its commitment to maintaining high standards in public service delivery.

According to officials, the certification covers key citizen services including online registration and processing of e-FIRs for motor vehicle theft and property theft, e-NCR, Zero Cyber FIR, and Lost Reports, along with seamless integration with the CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems) platform.

Police officials said the achievement reflects the continuous efforts of the SCRB team in strengthening technology-based policing while ensuring transparency, efficiency, and citizen-centric services.

The SCRB team played a pivotal role in achieving the milestone by ensuring regular monitoring of data quality, real-time coordination with districts and police stations, timely resolution of technical and procedural issues, and continuous guidance and capacity-building initiatives.

Officials added that the certification will further enhance the credibility, reliability, and efficiency of digital policing systems in the national capital.
