The NEET Re-Exam was conducted amid heightened security arrangements at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya in AGCR Colony on Sunday. Multiple layers of security were deployed by Delhi Police and paramilitary forces to ensure a smooth and fair examination process.
Entry for candidates began at 11 AM, with authorities sealing all other gates and allowing access only through a single designated entry point. Students underwent thorough security checks before being permitted inside the examination centre.
Several aspirants noted that security measures were significantly stricter compared to previous examinations. Twnisha, a NEET aspirant, said the arrangements were more stringent this time, with enhanced checks and monitoring at the venue.
Saroj, another candidate appearing for the examination, appreciated the improved facilities. She said that unlike previous occasions, proper arrangements had been made for students, including designated areas for keeping bags and personal belongings.Parents accompanying candidates also welcomed the improved management.
Kusum, mother of Tanisha, said authorities were providing better treatment and facilities to guardians waiting outside the examination centre.
To help students and their families cope with the summer heat, the Delhi Government established special cooling zones outside the centre. Facilities including chilled drinking water, ORS, tea and other refreshments were made available for parents and guardians.

Delhi Government employee Manish informed that the cooling zones and waiting arrangements were part of a broader effort to ensure convenience and comfort for those accompanying candidates.The enhanced security and improved public facilities reflect the authorities’ focus on conducting the NEET Re-Exam in a secure, transparent and student-friendly manner.
