Drug syndicate’s alleged top mafia Virender Baisoya, wanted in connection with a ₹6,000-crore drug case in Pune, has been brought back to India from Dubai.
Baisoya was brought to India on Air India flight AI 4310 following his arrest in Dubai and subsequent deportation as part of an initiative by the Government of India.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had issued a Red Corner Notice against Baisoya in connection with the drug-related case.
According to the information available, Baisoya is also allegedly a close associate of Sandeep Dhuniya, a key accused in a Delhi Police drug case. Dhuniya reportedly managed to flee from Dubai to Pakistan.

The deportation of Baisoya is being seen as a significant success in the Indian government’s efforts to dismantle international drug syndicates and bring wanted accused back to India.
