Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Tightens Security Ahead of Eid-ul-Azha

Gautam Buddh Nagar Police has strengthened security arrangements across the district in view of the upcoming festival of Eid-ul-Azha. Acting on the directives of Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh and under the supervision of Additional Police Commissioner (Law & Order) Dr. Rajeev Narayan Mishra, extensive measures have been put in place to ensure peace, safety, and communal harmony.

Police teams across all three zones—Noida, Central Noida, and Greater Noida—conducted flag marches and foot patrolling in crowded markets and public areas. Senior officers and station in-charges inspected security arrangements closely, while suspicious individuals and vehicles were subjected to intensive checking. Directions were issued to maintain smooth traffic flow and take strict action against violators.

During the campaign, police officers engaged with local citizens, religious leaders, and traders, appealing to celebrate the festival with brotherhood and harmony. The public was urged not to share misleading or objectionable content on social media, to remain cautious of rumors, and to immediately inform the police about any suspicious activity.

Deputy Commissioner-level monitoring ensured that the drive was carried out effectively, with emphasis on preventing any disruption to law and order. The initiative reflects the police’s commitment to maintaining a secure environment during festive occasions.

Authorities reiterated that vigilance and cooperation from the public are key to ensuring that Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated peacefully across Gautam Buddh Nagar
