Under the leadership of MCD Leader of the House Pravesh Wahi, BJP councillors launched a comprehensive cleanliness drive across all Chhath Ghats after the conclusion of the Chhath Puja festival.
Wahi personally reviewed the post-festival cleanliness at Ramlila Maidan, Rohini, where he joined councillors and volunteers in cleaning activities.
He stated that, “Under the guidance of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, unprecedented preparations were made for this year’s Chhath Puja. After the celebrations, all BJP councillors, party workers, and MCD employees joined hands to restore cleanliness and maintain hygiene at the ghats and public places.”

In Keshopur, Councillor Harish Oberoi led a special cleaning drive at New Krishna Park, directing officials to ensure park maintenance.

In Geeta Colony, Councillor Neema Bhagat, along with BJP workers, participated in the post-Chhath cleaning drive at Rani Garden and Yamuna Ghat, inspecting cleanliness standards.

Wahi emphasized that cleanliness is not a one-time effort but a collective responsibility. He appealed to citizens to cooperate with MCD in keeping the ghats and surrounding areas clean and beautiful.
