Delhi Police Academy, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi, held a Passing Out & Swearing-in ceremony for 100 trainee Constables (Batch No. 126). These trainees have successfully completed their training and are now prepared to take on their roles in the Delhi Police force. Rajbir Singh, Deputy Director was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Below are the key highlights of the ceremony:

Training Program Overview
• Academic Training: The trainees underwent education in police procedures, Criminal Law, Criminology, Cyber-Crime and Forensic Science to ensure that they are equipped with the required legal and procedural knowledge.
• Physical Training: The trainees participated in unarmed combat, firing, anti-terrorist measures and physical fitness activities such as games, yoga and gym exercises.
• Specialized Training focused upon Riot management, terrorism-related incidents and building physical fitness and endurance. These trainees were also trained for Disaster Response and weapon handling. Furthermore, as part of their Commando course, Recruit Constables received foundational knowledge regarding explosives and IEDs, Commando tactics training, field craft, raid & ambush training and building/urban intervention training.

Achievers
• All-Round Best trophy was awarded to Ct. Amit Kumar, who also stood first in Outdoor.
• W/Ct. Mukesh Rani was first in Indoor, Ct. Rockey Kumar first in Commando Training, while Ct. Virender Singh & W/Ct. Jyoti stood first in Police Procedures. Ct Rohan Choudhary, Parade Commander received the RRU Certificate on behalf of the batch.
AD/Training’s Welcome Address
Richhpal Singh, AD/DPA congratulated the trainees and highlighted the importance of discipline, teamwork and the value of public service, which were instilled in them during the training. He also spoke about diversity among the trainees and how it strengthens the police force. Of the total strength, 15 belong to Delhi, 28 from Haryana, 25 from UP, 24 from Rajasthan, 05 from MP and 01 each from Punjab, Uttarakhand & Keralam. He also administered the Oath to the passing out police personnel.
Chief Guest’s Address
Rajbir Singh, Dy. Director, DPA congratulated the trainees and encouraged them to apply the knowledge gained during training in their field duties. He underlined that the knowledge gained by them during training would help them overcome difficult and challenging situations in maintaining law & order in the Capital of the nation. He emphasized that they would be the first responders in any law & order situation and should try to come up to people’s expectations, as their conduct defines the image of the force.
Family members of trainees, officers of DPA and representative of Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) Dr. Abhishek Awadh (Asst. Professor) & Sh. Mahendra Kumar (Admn. Officer) also graced the occasion.
