On the eve of Independence Day, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Shahdara North Zone, carried out an extensive cleaning of the Gokulpur Drain under the “Delhi Ko Kude Se Azadi” campaign, removing floating materials from the site. A special cleaning drive was also conducted at Signature Bridge.
On this occasion, senior officials of Shahdara North Zone, local residents, and sanitation workers actively participated, setting a remarkable example of public involvement in maintaining cleanliness.
Following the campaign, under the leadership of Colonel Abhishek Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Shahdara North Zone, a grand Tiranga Yatra was organized by school children, spreading the message of patriotism and cleanliness with great enthusiasm.
