Najafgarh Zone Targets Garbage Hotspots

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Najafgarh Zone, today carried out a special sanitation drive across several wards as part of its mega cleanliness campaign. Senior officials, under the supervision of B.S. Jaglan, Additional Commissioner (Najafgarh Zone) and the Deputy Commissioner, inspected sanitation conditions at multiple public places.

During the inspection, Sh. Jaglan reviewed garbage-vulnerable points in Ward No. 117 (Dabri), Ward No. 136 (Madhu Vihar), and Ward No. 137 (Mahavir Enclave). He directed officials to ensure regular garbage disposal, dust mitigation, and removal of illegal encroachments to maintain hygiene standards.

Field officials were instructed to maintain consistent cleanliness across all wards in the Najafgarh Zone. The MCD emphasized that such drives are part of its broader mission to work with citizens and stakeholders to make Delhi cleaner and healthier.

This initiative highlights the corporation’s commitment to public health, sanitation, and civic responsibility, reinforcing the importance of community participation in keeping the city clean.
