The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) carried out a sealing drive in the Karol Bagh Zone on Friday, taking action against properties allegedly being misused for commercial purposes and hazardous activities.
At Property No. E-60, Naraina Vihar, the basement was sealed at four points for allegedly being used for commercial purposes in a residential property.
Similarly, the basement of Property No. D-54, Naraina Vihar, was sealed at one point for alleged commercial misuse of a residential premises.In a separate action, Property Nos. 4779–4782, Gali Nos. 45–46, Regharpura, Karol Bagh, were sealed after authorities found the premises allegedly being used for hazardous activities.
The MCD sealed the first, second, third and fourth floors at eight points during the enforcement drive.The action was taken as part of the MCD’s enforcement campaign against unauthorized commercial activities and hazardous operations in residential areas.
