- Total MSW Collected (Average per day): 12,373 TPD
- A Notable Increase: Last month’s daily average MSW collection was 11,000 TPD. This month, the figure has increased by more than 1,000 TPD, marking a significant boost in waste clearance efficiency.

Public Awareness & Anti–Single Use Plastic Campaign
- 419 community awareness drives conducted to discourage single-use plastic and promote compliance with Solid Waste Management Rules 2016.
- 12,772 stakeholders — including Market Trade associations , RWAs members, and other stakeholders in Delhi — actively participated in awareness sessions.
Green Cover & Plantation Initiatives
- From 6th to 8th August 2025, MCD conducted 29,737 plantation drives to enhance Delhi’s green cover and contribute to climate resilience.
Youth & School Engagement

The lack of civic sense among many in public who continue litter garbage and use single use plastic remains a major challenge for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Through cleanliness drives, beautification initiatives, and public awareness campaigns, MCD continues to work tirelessly to inculcate a pride in clean and green city.
