The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) pressed ahead yesterday with its sweeping enforcement campaign against unsafe structures, unauthorized constructions, and violations of the Master Plan of Delhi (MPD) and Building Bye-Laws.
Officials confirmed that 15 demolition actions were carried out across all 12 zones of the capital. In addition, 6 properties were sealed and 5 demolition orders were issued against violators of statutory building norms.
This follows Saturday’s drive, when 38 properties were demolished and 6 sealed, underscoring the Corporation’s resolve to intensify corrective measures against illegal constructions and dangerous buildings.

- North East Zone: Gokalpuri, Mustafabad, Dilshad Garden
- North Zone: Wazirabad, Burari
- East Zone: Krishna Nagar
- North West Zone: Shalimar Bagh
MCD reiterated that no unauthorized construction or violation of building norms will be tolerated within its jurisdiction. Regional officers have been directed to maintain strict vigilance and ensure compliance with MPD provisions and building bye-laws to safeguard public safety.
The Corporation confirmed that the city-wide enforcement drive will continue across all 12 zones with sustained vigilance against unsafe structures and unauthorized constructions.
