New Delhi, September 6, 2026 (Chanakyapuri Jurisdiction): At around 13:33 hrs, a building near Shiv Mandir in Satya Niketan, Moti Bagh suddenly collapsed, triggering a major emergency response.

- 01 SWT, 01 BFT, 01 WB, 01 IRT, 01 QRV
- Officers: ADO Santosh, STO Narender
By 13:50 hrs, STO Narender reached the site and confirmed that several people were trapped under the debris. He requested immediate deployment of senior officers and additional manpower.

At 13:51 hrs, reinforcements arrived with 01 SWT, 01 BFT, led by DO Mukesh Verma and STO Manoj. Rescue teams began intensive operations to save those trapped.
Police Said, “A PCR call was received at PS South Campus around 1:34 PM reporting the collapse of a building near Nanakpura Gurdwara. Immediately, local police staff, the Fire Brigade, CAT Ambulance, and other emergency services rushed to the spot. The NDRF team also joined the operation, and rescue and relief efforts are currently underway.”
At present, the exact number of persons trapped or injured is not confirmed. However, two individuals have been rescued so far. Authorities have cordoned off the area, and further details will be shared once officially verified.
