The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) yesterday intensified its enforcement drive against unauthorized construction and misuse of properties, carrying out demolition actions at three sites and sealing operations at multiple locations across the capital.

In Kirti Nagar Industrial Area, demolition was executed at property No. 5/31 (Part), where two RCC slab panels and red sandstone at the second floor were demolished. Reinforcement was cut using gas cutters.
At Pandav Nagar (Property No. A‑204), one RCC slab panel at the roof of the fourth floor was demolished, with reinforcement cut by gas cutter.
In New Moti Nagar (Property No. SH‑3/34), extensive demolition was undertaken: two RCC slab panels at the third‑floor roof, three outer walls, two partition walls, and one RCC balcony were demolished. At the second floor, three outer walls and one balcony were also removed, with reinforcement cut by gas cutter.

Parallel to demolition, sealing actions were carried out in New Patel Nagar at property No. 2151/11, 10T/5A/1, where one point each at the first and second floors was sealed on account of misuse. In Pandav Nagar (Plot No. 04), two points at the first floor were sealed for misuse.
MCD reiterated that strict enforcement against unauthorized construction and misuse of premises will continue, with accountability fixed at all levels to ensure compliance with building bye‑laws and public safety.
